This has brought Sammie the Jenday conure so much joy. Me, not so much. Haha
From the second I unpacked it, pots and pans have been his FAVOURITE toy ever. On the first night, he played with it for four hours straight until I made him go to bed.
Sometimes while WFH he’ll call out to me, and when I go in to ask if he wants me or just loves his pots and pans, he confirms that he just wants to say he loves pots and pans.
In the mornings I sometimes have to yell out to him, “stop playing with pots and pans and go back to sleep!!”
The good news is you do get used to the noise when a delighted parrot is happily squawking and knocking pots and pans into each other. I just have to turn the tv up a bit louder.
If your bird has just 10% of the enjoyment it gives Sammie, you made a good investment.
