Shredder's are the new parrot toy craze!

Chewing is an important part of a birds daily activity, so it is important to provide toys that help stimulate this natural behaviour.

This toy is a sea grass net made into a bag that holds strips of shredding paper on the outside and some mixed wood pieces inside (inside contents will vary to image)

Your parrot will be very excited with the special chewing surprise inside the bag!

Please monitor your parrot while playing with this toy to prevent entanglement. This is mostly important for those birds that like to wrestle with their toys.

Great for eclectus

My 11 year old male eclectus never gets bored with this great value toy. I keep restuffing it until the bag gives way, which takes months, and then get the next one.

A special treat

For us - this was a great toy to have as a special treat. It took DJ two to three hours to destroy and afterwards, she was exhausted and had a sleep. I do think it is a quite costly given its manly coloured shredded paper (which I scoop up and recycle into other shredded toys) but I also need a variety of toys up my sleeve to challenge and interest her insatiable appetite. My view is, to get best bang for buck, be creative about recycling !!!
