How to grow sprouts:
Step by step instructions: (instructions will be available on packaging)
- Place 6 tablespoons of seeds inside a sprouter jar, replace the lid and rinse a few times.
- Add water and soak sprouts for 8 to 12 hours.
- Rinse and drain the seeds and leave for approximately 4 hours, repeat this process 3 to 4 times a day.
- Sprouts will begin to sprout at around 12 hours.
- Continue to rinse and drain 3 to 4 times a day until ready for harvest.
- Sprouts will be ready to feed birds in approx. 24 to 36 hours.
- Final rinse, drain water and store in fridge for up to 4 days
Weights: 500g, 1kg & 3kg, see options above.
Storage - Best Refrigerated. To keep your seed fresh we recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dry and dark area or if your storing for long periods in the fridge or freezer, this will help prevent moths/larvae which are a natural occuring bug in seed, if not kept in cool temperatures.
