Chewing is a major activity in the wild all year round and especially during breeding season when birds are actively preparing nest hollows.

It is imperative that birds are provided with destructible toys to help keep their beaks and minds busy.

The Basket Case Toy has two small wicker baskets linked together with plastic open chain links. The baskets are filled with parrot safe coloured shredded paper. The outside is decorated with two large vine stars and wood beads. Hangs from a small pear link, hard plastic chain and has a small bell on the bottom.

You can add a few of your parrots favourite treats inside the baskets and watch your parrot destroy the toy to find their treats. “A toy destroyed is a toy enjoyed!”
